Products

Every fixture selected for one purpose — residential landscape performance.

LUMINI's range is built around what works in Australian conditions, on Australian residential sites, installed by Australian tradespeople. No consumer-grade filler. No imported catalogue padding. Every product earns its place.

A curated range, not a catalogue.

Most lighting suppliers carry hundreds of products because they sell to everyone. LUMINI carries six product families because we sell to professionals who know what they need. Every fixture in the range is low-voltage (12V), rated for permanent outdoor installation, and selected for beam control, material longevity, and discreet mounting. We don't carry consumer-grade products, decorative novelties, or anything we wouldn't specify on our own projects.

Each product family below is organised by what it does in the landscape — not by wattage or catalogue number. If you know the application, you'll find the fixture. If you're not sure, start with our Applications page or send us your plans.

Spike Lights

The spike light is the workhorse of residential landscape lighting. Ground-mounted in garden beds, it does the heavy lifting for facade washing, tree uplighting, feature lighting, and hedge illumination. LUMINI's spike light range is built around adjustability — fixtures that can be angled after installation, swapped between narrow and wide beams, and repositioned as planting matures.

All spike lights use a driven stake mount for direct soil installation. Bodies are die-casting brass or solid brass with a chemical antique bronze finish applied in-house — no paint, no powder coat. The finish develops character over time and is consistent from unit to unit. Every fixture accepts standard MR16 or GU10 lamp modules, with swap-out beam optics on selected models for beam angle changes without retooling.

LUMINI stocks spike lights from 3W to 12W — enough to cover everything from a 2-metre shrub to a 10-metre eucalyptus. If you're unsure which wattage or beam angle you need, send us the planting plan and we'll recommend.

In-Ground Lights

In-ground lights sit flush with the finished surface — driveways, paved paths, stone courtyards, and garden edges. They provide ground-level wash without any above-ground fixture visible. Properly specified, they disappear during the day and define spatial boundaries after dark.

LUMINI's in-ground range includes both directional and symmetrical beam patterns. Directional models are used for facade grazing and architectural wall wash from ground level. Symmetrical models provide even ambient pools for path and courtyard applications.

Housings are die-casting brass cover with PVC embedded sleeve for standard landscape applications, or solid brass for smaller flush-mount formats. The brass cover provides long-term corrosion resistance without any coating to chip or peel. Load-rated driveway versions are available with a hardened top cover — confirm with LUMINI at time of order.

Wall-Mount Fixtures

Wall-mount fixtures attach directly to vertical surfaces — rendered walls, stone cladding, timber posts, and boundary fences. They're used for facade accent lighting, entrance illumination, carport lighting, and boundary perimeter definition. The design priority is low profile: fixtures that sit close to the wall plane and direct light without creating a visible glare source from the street.

LUMINI's wall-mount range includes cylindrical up-down units and adjustable directional heads on surface-mount brackets. Up-down models create a symmetrical light band above and below the fixture — useful for accent on boundary walls or entrance columns. Directional heads on fixed brackets are used for precise feature and facade wash from a surface-mounted position.

Wall-mount bodies are brass with tempered glass protection or die-casting brass with chemical antique bronze finish. There is no powder coat — the material handles the environment directly. Mounting plates are concealed behind the fixture body, with all cable entries rear-mount for clean installation.

Step & Deck Lights

Step and deck lights are recessed or surface-mounted fixtures designed for horizontal and vertical surfaces in entertaining and circulation zones. They mark level changes, define deck perimeters, illuminate stair risers, and provide low-level ambient light in outdoor living areas.

The key design criterion is glare control. These fixtures sit at or near eye level when seated, which means unshielded LED sources are unacceptable. LUMINI's step and deck range uses recessed optics, tempered glass faces, or dome diffusers to push light downward or outward without direct eye contact with the source.

Available in both rectangular and round formats. Rectangular recessed models suit stone and masonry steps where a linear look is preferred. Round recessed models suit timber decking and retaining walls. All units use solid brass or die-casting brass construction — no stainless steel veneer over aluminium cores.

Key specifications
  • Low-voltage: 12V DC
  • Power range: 1W–3W per fixture
  • Beam pattern: Asymmetric downwash, frosted diffuse, dome spread
  • Colour temperature: 2700K (warm, no mixing)
  • Body: Solid brass with tempered glass / Die-casting brass
  • IP rating: IP65
  • Finish: Antique Bronze
  • Formats: Rectangular recessed, Round recessed, Dome surface-mount

Bollards

Bollards are low-height standing fixtures — typically 400mm to 600mm above ground — used along paths, garden borders, driveway edges, and property perimeters. They provide downward-directed ambient light at ground level, creating a rhythm of illumination that guides movement without overlighting the space.

The most common specification error with bollards is spacing. Too close together and the path looks like a runway. Too far apart and the light pools don't overlap, leaving dark patches between fixtures. LUMINI recommends 2.5 to 3.5 metre centres for most residential path applications, adjusted based on bollard height and canopy spread.

LUMINI's bollard range prioritises anti-glare optics — every model uses either a shielded canopy top, a recessed light source, or an angled reflector to prevent upward light spill and direct glare. Bodies are solid brass with antique bronze chemical finish, giving each fixture a warm, natural aged appearance that develops over time rather than degrading.

Key specifications
  • Low-voltage: 12V DC
  • Power range: 3W–6W (lamp-dependent)
  • Beam pattern: Downward hemisphere, shielded canopy anti-glare

Submersible Fixtures

Submersible fixtures are rated for permanent underwater installation — pools, spas, ponds, water walls, and fountain basins. They operate in continuous contact with water and must meet IP68 standards, which means full submersion at operating depth for the life of the fixture. LUMINI does not carry "splash-proof" or "water-resistant" products repackaged as pool lighting.

For pools, fixtures are typically wall-mounted or base-mounted, angled away from the primary sightline to prevent surface glare. Less is usually more — two or three well-placed submersibles create depth and movement in the water. Six or eight create a glaring basin.

All submersible fixtures comply with AS/NZS electrical safety requirements for pool and spa zones. Transformer isolation and safety switching are mandatory — LUMINI specifies compatible components as part of every pool lighting recommendation. Marine-grade stainless steel variants are available for saltwater pools and coastal installations.

Key specifications
  • Low-voltage: 12V DC (safety requirement for pool zones)
  • Power range: 3W–10W (lamp-dependent)
  • Beam angles: 25°, 40° (MR16 lamp selection)
  • Colour temperature: 3000K warm white (no RGB)
  • Body: Die-casting brass / Stainless steel (marine grade)
  • IP rating: IP68 (permanent submersion)
  • Compliance: AS/NZS 3000 pool zone requirements
  • Mounting: Base-mount or adjustable bracket
